Happy Birthday Baby Girl

The gorgeous Amelia K turns one this weekend.

Meely was the first baby I held post the IVF starting and our first harvest not working. When we lost "Ziggy" at the beginning of the year I dreamt about Meely. This little girl; along with her beautiful cousins Josh and Mitchell; gives me hope.

Whenever I am around them they are full of hugs. Josh (4) is now in Benalla with his mum and little brother Mitchell (about 3 months). I miss the playing and stuff we did when he was around the corner. He became a substitute son for me while the Boi and I were trying first time around.

As hard as the IVF is; and being around inconsiderate morons who think "SO, when are you two going to have kids?" is the height of conversational skill makes it harder; I love the time I get to spend with my grand niece and nephews. (Yep, grand; my sister is 16 years older then me; her eldest daughter is 5 years younger. My nieces and nephews are getting married and having kids.) The unconditional love they show is one of those little reminders that life is not as bad as it feels.

That's one thing that no one can take away; no matter how much they try.

Yes; very much.

Poor Meely just come out of hospital that morning due to a misdiagnosis that left her dehydrated so it was a double celebration.

When I get five I'll put some pictures up of the day.
